Position: Inventory Control Specialist

We are in search of a detail-oriented Inventory Control Specialist who possesses strong communication skills and the ability to work independently. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the stocking, organization, and distribution of inventory materials. This role requires effective collaboration with various teams and individuals across the organization to ensure clear communication and progress on assigned responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receive and confirm shipping materials against invoices
  • Prepare and validate production materials according to shop orders
  • Organize, label, count, inspect, and perform administrative tasks for the inventory area
  • Report any actual or potential discrepancies
  • Participate in 5S and continuous improvement initiatives as part of a cross-functional team

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in a manufacturing stockroom environment
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to quickly learn, understand, and troubleshoot inventory management software or ERP systems
  • Proficient in utilizing various technologies for inventory control and material handling
  • Adaptability to undertake diverse tasks and respond to unexpected situations in a dynamic work environment
  • Forklift experience is preferred
  • Experience in a cleanroom setting is a plus
