Inventory Management Specialist

The Inventory Management Specialist plays a crucial role in ensuring the effective management of inventory through accurate cycle counts and resolution of inventory discrepancies. This position is vital for achieving the company's goals related to order precision and inventory integrity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Complete assigned tasks efficiently, including:
- Conducting audits of designated pick locations daily as instructed within the warehouse.
- Providing inventory data reports to the Inventory Control Supervisor.
- Aiming for optimal order accuracy by updating inventory records in the SAP system.
- Identifying and rectifying errors discovered in warehouse inventory.
- Maintaining the accuracy and reliability of all warehouse counts.
- Managing all bin adjustments within the SAP system.
- Performing additional responsibilities as required, such as handling Returns to Vendor (RTV) and managing breakdowns.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
- Proficient in spoken and written English.
- Basic literacy skills necessary for reading labels, manuals, and policies.
- Willingness to learn the operation of computers and radio frequency devices (RF guns).
- Ability to safely operate powered material handling equipment (forklift, order picker, pallet jack, etc.), with certification required.
- Dependable and punctual attendance is essential.
- Capability to collaborate effectively in a dynamic team environment.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, and navigate stairs within the warehouse during shifts.
- Compliance with safety regulations, including wearing protective eyewear, footwear, gloves, and safety vests.
