Maintenance Supervisor Opportunity

Spherion Staffing LLC is seeking a skilled Maintenance Supervisor to join their team in Richland County, Ohio. As a key member of the production team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the plant, overseeing maintenance activities, and leading a skilled maintenance crew.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise Maintenance Operations: Direct and oversee all maintenance activities related to production and facility operations, ensuring everything runs efficiently and effectively.
  • Leadership: Manage and mentor a skilled maintenance crew, providing real-time support and guidance to address production issues promptly.
  • Preventative Maintenance: Utilize ERP systems to schedule, track, and optimize preventative maintenance activities, ensuring equipment reliability and minimizing downtime.
  • Training and Development: Lead training initiatives for maintenance staff, ensuring they are well-equipped with the skills needed to excel in their roles.
  • Inventory Management: Oversee the management of spare parts, ensuring timely restocking and availability of critical components.
  • Safety and Compliance: Participate actively in the safety team, promoting a safe working environment and adhering to all safety protocols.
  • Performance Metrics: Develop, track, and publish key maintenance metrics to drive improvements in Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) and reduce downtime.
Requirements:
  • Education: Minimum of a two-year college degree.
  • Experience: At least five years of maintenance experience with a minimum of three years in a leadership role.
  • Technical Skills: Strong background in facility maintenance, with expertise in PLC and robotic systems, AC/DC electrical knowledge, and the ability to interpret, create, and modify wiring diagrams. Riveting experience is highly preferred.
  • ERP Systems: Familiarity with ERP systems for maintenance scheduling and tracking is essential.
