Maintenance Supervisor Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Supervisor to join our team at MJ Recruiters LLC. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance of our facilities and equipment, ensuring that our operations run smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and coach a team of maintenance technicians to ensure that maintenance tasks are completed on time and to a high standard.
  • Champion all production and facility maintenance management, including budgeting and timeline management.
  • Oversee facility projects, including roof, driveway, plumbing, and other maintenance tasks.
  • Serve as the point of contact for all contractors and vendors.
  • Get projects approved for facilities by upper-level management.
  • Maintain and improve our preventative maintenance program.
  • Optimize our current CMMS system and establish consistency in its usage.
  • Focus on minimizing downtime and improving maintenance metrics.
  • Oversee spare parts inventory and partner with operations and maintenance staff to complete mechanical troubleshooting.
  • Assist the site electrical engineering lead with automation and troubleshooting.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of a high school diploma.
  • At least five years of operations maintenance experience, with at least three years of experience supervising others.
  • Experience working in facilities maintenance.
  • Mechanical troubleshooting, including conveyors, pneumatics, etc.
  • PLC troubleshooting.
  • General knowledge of AC/DC.
  • Microsoft Office.

Preferred Skills:

  • PLCs, automation, and/or robotics.
  • CMMS experience.
  • KPIs/metrics tracking.
