Position Overview
The Culinary Supervisor is tasked with overseeing daily kitchen operations while providing leadership and guidance to the team. This role ensures that all culinary preparations, recipes, and presentations align with the company's standards and commitment to excellence. The Supervisor is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and organized kitchen environment, demonstrating proper food handling techniques at all times. Responsibilities include managing daily operations such as cooking, inventory management, food procurement, staff scheduling, and fostering positive client relations.
Work Schedule: MONDAY - FRIDAY 4:30AM - 12:30PM
Some evenings and weekends may be required
Key Responsibilities
1. Develops and maintains a daily production schedule.
2. Ensures all workstations are adequately stocked before and during service periods.
3. Manages end-of-day financial transactions and drawer counts.
4. Monitors kitchen staff adherence to recipes and portion control.
5. Maintains cleanliness and organization of kitchen, dish, and storage areas.
6. Places orders for food and supplies as needed.
7. Receives and inspects products for quality and freshness upon delivery.
8. Trains team members to meet company standards.
9. Sets a high standard for customer service and teamwork.
10. Actively participates in management team initiatives.
11. Adjusts staffing levels as necessary throughout shifts.
12. Oversees kitchen labor and food costs in alignment with budgetary goals.
13. Performs additional duties as assigned by management.
Essential Skills and Attributes
1. Proficient in basic mathematics for accurate cash handling.
2. Ability to influence purchasing decisions through suggestive selling techniques.
3. Strong customer service skills with a focus on quality and satisfaction.
4. Proficient in English language structure, including grammar and composition.
5. Excellent active listening skills to understand and respond to team and customer needs.
6. Social awareness to recognize and adapt to the reactions of others.

9. Consistent attendance and punctuality are essential.

Qualifications
1. Culinary training or extensive experience in food production.
2. Minimum of 2+ years in a leadership role within the food service sector.
3. Dedication to quality service and knowledge of food and beverage operations.
4. Familiarity with health and sanitation regulations at local, state, and federal levels.
5. Serv-Safe Certification is highly preferred.
6. Knowledge of kitchen equipment usage and maintenance.
7. Experience with online food ordering systems, inventory management, and client relations is advantageous.
