Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Mental Health Case Manager to join our team at Salem Hospital, Inc. as a Staff Clinician in Adult Psychiatry. This is a full-time position that offers a unique opportunity to work with a diverse patient population and contribute to the delivery of high-quality mental health services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide inpatient case management, psychosocial assessments, and individual and family therapy to adult patients struggling with psychiatric and co-occurring substance use disorders.
  • Conduct insurance reviews and develop discharge plans to ensure seamless transitions for patients.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care and support.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Masters degree in a relevant field (e.g., social work, counseling, psychology).
  • Experience in inpatient mental health settings, preferably with a focus on adult psychiatry.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities.
