About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Crisis Clinician 2 to join our team at Marion County. As a Crisis Clinician 2, you will provide crisis mental health assessments, brief case management, resource identification, and referral options to individuals in need.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct crisis mental health assessments and provide treatment services to individuals and families.
  • Develop and implement specific services in the community to address the needs of clients.
  • Provide advocacy for client rights, ethical considerations, and least restrictive care-intervention.
  • Maintain current knowledge of community agencies and make referrals appropriately.
  • Perform other job duties as assigned by your supervisor.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Recreational Therapy, Music Therapy, Art Therapy, or a behavioral science field.
  • At least one year of full-time, post-Master's degree experience in the behavioral health field.
  • Knowledge of community mental health concepts, chemical dependency case management, and treatment services.
  • Ability to establish positive working relationships with employees, individuals, and their families, other agencies, and the public.
