Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Crisis Clinician 2 to join our team at the Marion County Crisis Center. As a Crisis Clinician 2, you will provide crisis mental health assessments, brief case management, resource identification, and referral options to individuals in need. You will work in a fast-paced environment, providing services to clients in crisis, and collaborating with other professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide crisis mental health assessments and interventions to individuals and families
  • Develop and implement treatment plans to address client needs and goals
  • Collaborate with other professionals to ensure comprehensive care and support
  • Provide education and support to clients and their families on mental health issues and resources
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay current on best practices and evidence-based treatments
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, or a related field
  • At least one year of full-time, post-Master's degree experience in the behavioral health field
  • Knowledge of community mental health concepts and chemical dependency case management and treatment services
  • Ability to establish positive working relationships with clients, families, and other professionals
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
