This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity to join Marion County as a Crisis Intervention Specialist. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing mental health consultation and support to individuals and families in need.
Key Responsibilities- Respond to crisis calls and provide mental health consultation to individuals in the community.
- Provide triage, brief assessment, consultation, and referrals to community supports.
- Document services in a timely fashion, meeting all standards and expectations.
- Provide follow-up case management to residents engaged in the community.
- Provide backup support to the Psychiatric Crisis Center as needed.
- Master's degree in psychology, social work, or a related field.
- One year of postgraduate degree experience in the behavioral health field.
- Licensed by the Oregon Board of Licensed Professional Counselors or the Oregon Board of Licensed Social Workers.
- LCSW, CSWA, or eligible for LCSW licensure.
- Experience working with individuals and families in crisis.
