Program Insight

Multisystemic Therapy (MST) is a proven therapeutic approach aimed at delivering community-centered treatment for families with adolescents at risk of involvement in the juvenile justice system. The goal is to minimize the likelihood of out-of-home placements by addressing the various systemic factors influencing youth behavior within their family, peer groups, educational settings, and communities. • Formulate personalized treatment plans for each case, conducting ongoing assessments and regular reviews of treatment progress.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of all sessions within a predetermined timeframe, utilizing web-based documentation tools, often supported by voice-recognition technology.
  • Provide after-hours support to youth and families through a rotating on-call schedule.
  • Travel up to 60-80 miles to conduct home visits with families.
  • Deliver treatment in diverse family home settings across various communities.
  • Engage in close collaboration with multiple forms of clinical supervision, both individually and in group settings, led by trained and licensed MST professionals, with frequent progress reviews.
  • Establish and nurture strong community relationships and resources to support families as part of the treatment process.
