PRIMARY OBJECTIVE
The Technical Sales/Engineering Manager plays a crucial role in driving sales growth by fostering strong relationships with clients and crafting innovative technical solutions tailored to industry needs. This position requires exceptional communication skills and the ability to lead diverse teams towards achieving strategic business goals.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Acquire an in-depth understanding of the company’s offerings, market competitors, and overall positioning.
- Formulate strategic and operational plans to effectively pursue new business avenues, including emerging markets, clients, products, and services.
- Recognize customer requirements by establishing strategic partnerships with technical representatives.
- Organize and lead regular technical workshops with key clientele.
- Ensure that proposed solutions meet the specific needs of customers.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams to expedite the introduction of new products.
- Work in tandem with local sales teams to synchronize concepts and value propositions.
- Prepare and deliver impactful presentations and reports to support the sales team in technical discussions.
- Partner with Senior Managers to identify risks and enhance profitable sales growth.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Proven experience in expanding business with electrical utility organizations.
- Master's degree in engineering or a related field is preferred, with a focus on Industrial Engineering being advantageous.
- Strong negotiation skills, persuasive abilities, and commercial insight.
- Technically knowledgeable with a proactive, entrepreneurial mindset.
- Analytical and systematic approach to problem resolution.
- Possess a strong sense of ownership and encourage a similar mentality in others.
- Ability to adapt a strategic or consultative approach when closing deals.
- Exhibit strong business acumen, self-motivation, and the capability to work independently.
- Demonstrate resilience in challenging situations.
This is a permanent position with a competitive benefits package.
Compensation: $100,000.00
