Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Structural Engineer to join our team at AMT Engineering. As a key member of our structural engineering team, you will be responsible for leading the design and analysis of complex bridge and structural projects.

With 12+ years of experience in structural engineering, you will have a strong background in design and analysis of new and rehabilitation structures, as well as experience with project management and team leadership.

As a Senior Structural Engineer at AMT Engineering, you will have the opportunity to work on a wide variety of structural transportation projects for state departments of transportation, county, municipal, and private clients.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the design and analysis of complex bridge and structural projects
  • Manage and coordinate project teams to ensure timely completion of projects
  • Develop and implement project plans and schedules
  • Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure compliance with project requirements
  • Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to understand project requirements and deliverables
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET accredited institution
  • Professional Engineer (PE) licensure or the ability to obtain via reciprocity within 6 months of hire
  • 5+ years of project and client management experience with significant project experience and client contacts
  • MS Office experience
  • Demonstrated business development and strategic planning skills
  • Good communication, leadership, planning, and mentoring skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Structural Engineering
  • Desired proficiency in LEAP Bridge Enterprise, LARSA 4D, LPile, MDX, Descus, AASHTOWare BrR, Merlin DASH, spColumn, PennDOT software packages, Bentley MicroStation and/or OpenRoads/Bridge software
