Position Overview The role involves providing urgent restoration and recovery services to clients following designated work orders from the Lead Technician or Crew Chief.
Job Responsibilities Executes water, fire, smoke damage, and mold remediation tasks as instructed by the supervisor, including water extraction, content pack-out, removal and disposal of non-salvageable items, cleaning, light construction, and demolition. Establishes and oversees air movers and/or dehumidifiers. May undertake additional cleaning tasks (such as construction cleaning, fire/smoke/odor cleaning, mold remediation, carpet, and upholstery cleaning) when part of mitigation or restoration projects. Reports any equipment issues to the supervisor. Communicates any customer concerns or damages to the supervisor. Completes assigned tasks according to company protocols while ensuring quality control on each job. Job Requirements High school diploma or equivalent. Ability to collaborate effectively within a team. Follows instructions and remains focused on tasks. Adheres to company policies and standards. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Excellent customer service abilities. Capable of reading and following product label instructions. Arrives at work punctually in a clean and complete uniform. Physical Demands and Working Conditions The physical requirements are representative of those that must be met by an employee to perform the essential functions of this position. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions. The incumbent must be prepared to: Stand and walk for extended periods. Lifting, squatting, crawling, and crouching are necessary. Communicate and exchange ideas with others and act on detailed information provided. For safety reasons, must be able to wear respirators that seal to the face in certain situations. Be exposed to various indoor and outdoor working conditions, including changes in environment with or without air conditioning and heating.
