Schneider Electric is seeking a highly skilled Regional Sales Manager to lead our Drives products and solutions in the US Eastern region. Key Responsibilities:- Develop and execute sales strategies to meet regional sales targets and objectives.
- Partner with customers and distributors to plan and implement sales strategies, provide quality services, and train customer personnel.
- Assist in formulating, communicating, and evaluating sales plans, and provide coaching and development activities to ensure successful execution.
- Maintain active relationships with Schneider Electric customers, negotiate discrepancies, and assist staff in dealing with specific target audiences.
- Coordinate sales activities with other areas and national account management to penetrate national accounts.
- Negotiate and construct appropriate sales terms when necessary.
- Improve relationships with strategic partners, including customers and distributors.
- Drive team development and lead by example.
- Bachelor's degree is mandatory.
- 3+ years of second-level management experience and proven leadership skills.
- Experience in the automation of the high-tech industry is essential.
- Experience in determining and managing sales quotas of $50m+ is mandatory.
- Experience working with distributors and directly managing a team would be highly desirable.
- Strategic self-starter with the ability to identify gaps, opportunities, and resources to accomplish desired business objectives.
- Must be skilled at selling compelling, integrated programs to clients.
- Customer-centric, solutions-focused, articulate, and comfortable building relationships at senior levels.
- Effective in working with diverse groups internally and with customer representatives.
