Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Third Party Risk Manager to establish and lead a formal, enterprise-wide risk management program, with a particular focus on third-party vendors.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive third-party risk management framework that integrates with the company's overall risk management strategy.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a third-party risk management program that aligns with the company's risk appetite and regulatory requirements.
  • Perform risk assessments and due diligence activities across all phases of the third-party lifecycle.
  • Identify and mitigate third-party risks through the development of compensating controls and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Develop and maintain a third-party risk dashboard to provide real-time visibility into third-party risk exposure.
  • Manage relationships with third-party vendors to ensure compliance with the company's risk management policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct ongoing risk reviews and audits to ensure the company's risk exposure is minimized.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Risk Management, Business Administration, Information Security, or a related field. MBA or relevant certifications (e.g., CRISC, CTPRP, CISA) are preferred.
  • 3-5 years of progressive and current work experience in third-party/supply chain risk management that includes performing Information Security-based risk assessments of third parties and driving mitigation actions sufficient to manage identified risks.
  • Strong understanding of complex information security fundamentals and regulatory compliance requirements in the third-party risk management domain, and the applicable standards that reflect them (e.g. SOC 2, ISO27001, NIST, etc.)
  • Demonstrated ability to partner effectively with teams across the Business Units and at various levels ranging from individual contributors to senior leadership.
  • Excellent written and verbal skills for communicating complex technical issues and concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Experience developing and completing third-party risk scorecards (or similar reporting).
