Job Title: Program Risk Manager

AECOM is seeking a highly skilled Program Risk Manager to join our team in Sacramento, CA. This is a remote work opportunity.

Job Summary:

Under the direction of the Director, Project Services, the Program Risk Manager will be responsible for managing the Program Risk Management Section of risk specialists. The successful candidate will work with program staff, project staff, and other consultants to identify, assess, and mitigate potential risks associated with large-scale construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead risk management coordination with clients, project staff, and consultants to identify and assess potential risks.
  • Develop and implement risk management strategies to mitigate potential risks.
  • Review and analyze risk assessment models conducted by others, and develop and run risk assessment models using TOP-DOWN FRA methodology and/or Monte-Carlo methodology.
  • Manage the development of risk registers, risk assessments, and status reports, and ensure they are captured on the client's RMS system.
  • Organize and facilitate risk workshops and risk review meetings.
  • Support the bi-annual Program Update Reports, bi-annual Business Plans, and Annual Work Plans.
Qualifications:
  • BA/BS + 12 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education, including 4 years of leadership.
  • BS Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying (QS), or a similar, relevant discipline.
  • 15+ years of experience in risk management for large, complex construction projects or programs.
  • Proficiency with risk management software such as Primavera Risk Analysis, @Risk, Active Risk Manager, or other commercial risk management software.
  • Proficiency with computer software applications such as Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
