Job Summary:

The State of Oregon is seeking a highly skilled Group Life Coordinator 2 to join our team at the Camp Riverbend Youth Transitional Facility. As a Group Life Coordinator 2, you will play a critical role in ensuring a safe and secure environment for the public, youth, and staff. This position requires a strong ability to provide pro-social role modeling, coaching, and mentoring to youth, while also maintaining a high level of professionalism and discretion.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct support to youth in a group setting, promoting positive behavior and social skills.
  • Develop and implement individualized plans to address the unique needs of each youth.
  • Collaborate with other staff members to ensure a comprehensive and cohesive approach to youth development.
  • Monitor and report on youth behavior, providing recommendations for improvement.
  • Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
  • At least six months of experience working with youth in a group setting, preferably in a behavioral health or social services context.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record required.
