ABOUT NEW HORIZON COMMUNITY CARE (NHCC)

New Horizon Community Care (NHCC) is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing residential and outpatient behavioral health services for at-risk youth, teens, and adults throughout the valley.

Since its establishment, NHCC has created a program framework that challenges, motivates, and empowers clients to boost their self-esteem and modify their behaviors to become active, contributing members of the community. Clients engage in activities, group discussions, and life lessons designed to help them recognize their internal strengths and enhance their decision-making abilities.

Our agency collaborates effectively with all parties involved in each client's program. Essential Qualifications:

  • Must fulfill the minimum state licensing requirements for Behavioral Health Technicians or Para Professionals
    • Applicants must be at least 21 years old
    • High School Diploma or GED required
    • Experience working with at-risk populations or in behavioral health settings with youth, teens, or adults
    • Valid AZ Driver's License with no restrictions

*CANDIDATES MUST BE ABLE TO COMPLETE CRIMINAL HISTORY SELF-DISCLOSURE AFFIDAVITS AND OBTAIN AN ARIZONA DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC SAFETY (DPS) UNRESTRICTED LEVEL 1 FINGERPRINT CLEARANCE CARD, INVOLVING A STATE AND FEDERAL CRIMINAL BACKGROUND CHECK.*

Compensation: (Based on experience and education)

  • $23.00 per hour
