DIRECT SERVICES AND MENTORING

Our Direct Services program caters to clients from early childhood through adulthood, with various locations available. We offer treatment that emphasizes personal goals, family support, health and wellness, life skills enhancement, and emotional regulation.

ABOUT NEW HORIZON COMMUNITY CARE (NHCC)

New Horizon Community Care (NHCC) is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing residential and outpatient behavioral health services to at-risk youth, teens, and adults throughout the valley.

Since our establishment, we have developed a programming framework that challenges, supports, and empowers clients to boost their self-esteem and alter their behaviors to become productive members of the community. Clients engage in activities, group sessions, and life lessons that assist them in recognizing their internal strengths and improving their decision-making abilities.

Our agency collaborates effectively with all parties involved in each client's program. Our experienced staff aids clients in establishing a solid foundation to help them develop the skills necessary to reach their full potential in a dynamic and evolving environment. We prioritize diversity and inclusion, ensuring accessible, equitable, and culturally competent mental health care for individuals from all backgrounds.


Essential Qualifications:

  • Must fulfill the minimum state licensing requirements for Behavioral Health Technicians or Para Professionals
    • Applicants must be at least 21 years old
    • High School Diploma or GED required
    • Experience in working with at-risk populations or in behavioral health settings with youth, teens, or adults
    • Valid AZ Driver's License with no restrictions

*Candidates must also be able to complete criminal history self-disclosure affidavits and obtain an Arizona Department of Public Safety (DPS) unrestricted Level 1 fingerprint clearance card, which involves a state and federal criminal background check.*

*All positions at NHCC are safety-sensitive, as defined in ARS. Therefore, the organization prohibits the use, sale, manufacture, distribution, or possession of alcohol, drugs, controlled substances, medical marijuana, or drug paraphernalia on any company premises or vehicles.*

Compensation: (Based on experience and education)

  • $23.00 per hour
