Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled culinary team leader to join our corrections division. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing and guiding the culinary staff to ensure optimal performance and compliance with established food service standards in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Providing instruction and training to team members on all facets of food preparation and sanitation, ensuring timely meal service, and maintaining high standards for portion sizes, presentation, and temperature of all food items.
Qualifications:

Essential Requirements:

  • A minimum of one year of culinary experience in a reputable, high-volume kitchen, with a focus on scratch cooking.
  • Thorough understanding of culinary techniques, methods, and standards.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • The ideal candidate will possess extensive product knowledge, demonstrate excellent customer service skills, and thrive in a fast-paced setting.
  • Previous experience in a supervisory role is essential.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Food Handlers certification is a plus.
Compensation:

$19.00 per hour
