Job Title: Assistant Branch Manager

At Peoples Bank, we are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Branch Manager to join our team. As an Assistant Branch Manager, you will play a key role in leading the branch's business growth through exceptional customer service and ensuring the day-to-day operations are executed according to the Bank's policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Contribute to the overall profitability and growth of the branch through successful leadership of the staff and management of operations.
  • Participate in the recruitment, hiring, and performance evaluations of the branch team.
  • Ensure compliance in the branch with oversight from the Branch Manager.
  • Complete all monthly, quarterly, and annual branch certifications.
  • Ensure high-quality service is consistently delivered by the branch team through leading and observing the team.
  • Attend community, bank-sponsored, and other events.
Requirements:
  • You have a High School Diploma, G.E.D. or equivalent.
  • You are enthusiastic about providing a high level of customer service.
  • You have a minimum five-years' customer service experience.
  • You have a minimum three-years' banking experience as well as supervisory experience.
  • You have excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills, ability to prioritize multiple tasks and be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • You are proficient with Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • You have strong interpersonal skills including professional etiquette and service mentality.
  • You are skilled at business communication, both verbal and written.
  • You have a strong professional demeanor and high regard for confidentiality.
  • You can travel to other Peoples Bank locations and off-site for meetings and/or training as required.
  • You have the ability to model the Peoples Bank Mission, Vision, and Values.
