Specialty and Retail Pharmacy Director

Job Summary:
Cardinal Health is seeking an experienced pharmacy leader to manage its specialty pharmacy operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pharmacy management, leadership, and business development.

Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will be responsible for the implementation of specialty accreditation, direct supervision of specialty operations, and indirect supervision of one and possibly two retail pharmacies via PIC management. Additionally, they will ensure adequate staffing, maintain accurate records, and ensure compliance with federal and state statutes, rules, and regulations governing the practice of pharmacy.

Requirements:
A bachelor's degree in pharmacy is required, with a PharmD preferred. The ideal candidate will have 2 years of pharmacy management experience, with 3-5 years of related pharmacy experience preferred. They must also be a registered pharmacist in the state where the position is located and have immunization certification or be willing to become certified within 90 days of hire.
