Join Our Team as a Local Route Equipment Transporter

At TransForce, we are seeking dedicated and enthusiastic individuals to enhance the travel experience for our customers.

Position Overview:
As a Local Route Equipment Transporter, you will be responsible for the efficient loading and unloading of galley equipment, ensuring timely delivery to aircraft.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Load equipment onto the transport vehicle.
  • Drive to the designated aircraft locations.
  • Ensure proper loading of galleys in accordance with customer specifications.
  • Unload used equipment and dispose of waste in the appropriate areas.
  • Adhere to safety and sanitation standards throughout all operations.
  • Engage with airline representatives during loading and unloading processes.
  • Collaborate effectively with the transportation team.
  • Complete additional tasks as assigned by management.
Qualifications:

Education:
  • High School Diploma or GED preferred.
Experience:
  • Preferred experience of up to one year in a similar role.
Technical Skills:
  • Valid U.S. driver's license required.
  • Some positions may necessitate a Customs Seal from the local airport authority.
Communication Skills:
  • Ability to read and write for completing necessary documentation.
  • Effective communication with supervisors and team members is essential.
Job Requirements:
  • Flexibility to work varied schedules, including weekends and holidays.
  • Willingness to work overtime as needed.
  • Punctuality is crucial for all shifts.
  • Compliance with company policies and procedures is mandatory.
  • Completion of paperwork and administrative tasks is required.
  • Ability to operate a 22-foot box truck safely.
  • Successful completion of a 10-year background check is necessary.
Work Environment:
  • Exposure to varying temperatures and noise levels.
  • Majority of tasks performed outdoors in all weather conditions.
  • Physical ability to lift, push, pull, and move items weighing up to fifty (50) pounds regularly.
  • Regular standing, bending, and lifting required during shifts of 8+ hours.
  • Capability to work at heights of 25 feet or more, depending on aircraft.
