Financial Advisor Sales Role

We are seeking entrepreneurial-minded individuals to help expand the New York Life presence in the Denver Metro area.

  • Over 9-10 Americans aged 60 and above lack a retirement income strategy.
  • Long Term Care is becoming increasingly essential in a client's financial portfolio as care costs rise.
  • We advocate for life insurance as a vital risk management tool within our comprehensive planning approach, educating clients on its benefits beyond just death benefits and generational wealth.
  • With increasing life expectancies, many retirement plans fail to account for inflation and sustainable income. We offer various fixed products and income solutions to assist clients in achieving their financial aspirations.
Compensation:

Projected earnings range from $90,000 to $150,000 based on performance.

  • Engage with new and prospective clients to understand their priorities and financial situations, recommending suitable insurance solutions tailored to their unique needs. We prefer to be seen as consultants and educators rather than traditional salespeople, emphasizing community involvement and personal passions.
  • Apply proven sales strategies to maintain and grow a loyal customer base, focusing on long-term relationships rather than one-time transactions.
  • Maintain accurate bookkeeping, sales databases, and client records to track progress toward monthly goals. We utilize SalesForce as our CRM system, and our management team will provide training to help you effectively manage these tools.
  • Stay informed about industry standards and policy changes to ensure compliance and monitor claims for mutual satisfaction. We prioritize keeping our advisors updated on key industry developments through regular meetings and training sessions.
  • Develop customized risk management strategies that align with clients' risk profiles. Our holistic planning approach ensures that we work with clients throughout their financial journey.
Qualifications:
  • Associate's degree in finance, accounting, or economics, or a four-year college degree.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Previous sales or business experience is preferred.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and competitive spirit.
  • Genuine desire to assist others.
  • Willingness to obtain necessary licenses for selling financial products.
  • Must reside in the state of Colorado.

Strong interpersonal skills, self-motivation, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team are advantageous.
