Client Services Consultant

The Client Services Consultant will focus on three primary areas: 1) managing a personal portfolio of clients as a wealth management advisor, ensuring an outstanding planning experience through the utilization of our comprehensive product offerings; 2) processing new business applications for your clients and up to four financial advisors; and 3) serving as a client liaison for your assigned clients and the financial advisors you support.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree is preferred
  • Experience in client-facing roles within an office setting
  • 5+ years of experience in the financial services industry is preferred
  • CFP designation is preferred
  • Life & Health insurance license along with either a Series 65 or a combination of Series 7 & 66

Key Responsibilities:

Wealth Management Advisor:

  • Licensing: Maintain all necessary licenses in good standing to operate as a wealth management advisor.
  • Compliance: Adhere to all regulations set forth by the contracted carrier, RIA, and B/D.
  • Insurance: Keep active Errors & Omissions insurance.
  • Fiduciary Duty: Act in the best interest of all fee-based clients.
  • Meetings: Attend and engage in all required meetings as requested by management.
  • Planning: Stay informed about best practices related to our planning processes.
  • Product Knowledge: Keep updated on all products and investments that are integral to our planning approach.
  • Client Communication: Aim to respond to all client inquiries within two hours or by the end of the day.
  • Tools: Master and utilize various software tools to enhance the client planning experience.
  • Client Meetings: Prepare thoroughly for all client meetings to ensure a comprehensive planning experience.
  • Documentation: Record all client interactions promptly in our internal systems.
  • Goal Setting: Establish and pursue annual, quarterly, and monthly sales objectives.
  • Client Service: Deliver exceptional service that leaves clients feeling valued.
  • Continuous Learning: Engage in ongoing education by reading financial and motivational literature.

New Business Processing:

  • Manage incoming requests and review new business applications for completeness.
  • Update new business information in our internal tracking systems.
  • Assist advisors with application preparation and processing.
  • Ensure timely submission of documents to relevant parties.
  • Track pending new business activities daily.

Client Coordination:

  • Participate in daily team meetings and ensure timely follow-up with clients.
  • Maintain accurate client records in our CRM system.
  • Prepare summaries for client meetings and ensure advisors are well-prepared.
  • Assist with account servicing and documentation.

Compensation:

  • Salary range: $70K-$80K
  • Uncapped monthly commission structure
