Role Summary:
The Clinical Research Associate I plays a vital role in assisting investigators and the research team in the execution, management, and oversight of clinical research initiatives. This position adheres to our core service values and the ethical standards of research practice.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Support the initiation of studies and maintain all necessary regulatory documentation as required by sponsors and regulatory bodies.
2. Assist in the development of protocols, informed consent forms, amendments, renewals, and other essential study documents for review by the Institutional Review Board (IRB) and sponsors.
3. Collaborate with clinical research staff to implement research projects and aid in the identification and recruitment of qualified study participants.
4. Manage the inventory of study materials and equipment.
5. Prepare laboratory kits and requisitions prior to participant visits, and collect and process specimens as directed.
6. Coordinate study visits and provide guidance to participants and their families.
7. Oversee reimbursement processes for study participants.
8. Address participant inquiries and assist with monitoring and reporting adverse events.
9. Create and maintain case report forms or source document templates.
10. Extract data from medical records and input information into study-specific forms and electronic data capture systems.
11. Facilitate study initiation, monitoring, and closure activities.
12. Attend investigator meetings as required.

Qualifications:
A Bachelor's degree is required. Relevant education and/or experience may be considered in lieu of a degree if directly related to the job responsibilities.

Skills and Competencies:
- Strong organizational abilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Familiarity with FDA, HSR, and GCP guidelines.
- Proficient analytical skills with adaptability to various technological systems.
