POSITION SUMMARY

The Clinical Research Associate will play a vital role in supporting research initiatives aimed at enhancing health equity for diverse populations. This role involves assisting with data collection, data entry, and analysis, as well as performing various administrative tasks. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential for effective collaboration with team members and external partners.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Engage in daily study coordination, ensuring effective communication with participants and organizing meetings among research personnel.
  • Facilitate participant recruitment through outreach to community organizations and online platforms.
  • Collect and manage data from participants via surveys, interviews, and focus groups, ensuring confidentiality and data security.
  • Utilize software tools such as Excel, R, or SPSS for data entry and analysis.
  • Assist in the development of research materials, including questionnaires and codebooks.

ADDITIONAL TASKS
  • Complete administrative tasks related to the research project as required.
  • Organize and coordinate meetings effectively.
  • Maintain and update lab websites and relevant online platforms.
  • Collaborate with various departments to ensure smooth project execution.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
The position requires flexibility in work hours, with options for both in-office and remote work. Candidates should be prepared to adapt their schedules to meet project needs, including occasional weekend commitments for community engagement activities.

QUALIFICATIONS
Candidates should possess a bachelor’s degree in Psychology or a related field, or have relevant experience in empirical research. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required, along with strong organizational and interpersonal skills. The ability to work independently and collaboratively is crucial for success in this role.
