Position Overview:

The Clinical Research Associate plays a vital role in managing non-therapeutic clinical research initiatives under the guidance of the Principal Investigator and senior personnel, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards and institutional protocols. This position may also provide support for more complex studies, although it does not carry overall responsibility for those projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Organizes and oversees research schedules and participant preparation for minimal risk clinical trials.
  • Assists senior research coordinators in the processes of participant recruitment, screening, eligibility assessment, and enrollment, as well as gathering participant data.
  • Carries out administrative and regulatory tasks related to the research study as directed by senior staff.
  • Identifies and reports adverse events, protocol deviations, and other unexpected issues as necessary.
  • Collects, abstracts, and inputs research data accurately.
Additional Duties:
Performs other related tasks as assigned.

Required Qualifications:
  • A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is mandatory.
Essential Skills and Competencies:
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, along with cultural awareness, are essential.
Preferred Skills and Competencies:
  • Experience in clinical settings with patients and families is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with biological or medical concepts through education or prior experience is preferred.
Compensation:
The anticipated salary range for this role is between $49,850 and $69,000 annually. The final salary will be determined based on the candidate's education, experience, skills, and internal equity considerations.
