Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Guest Service Associate to join our team at Global Partners. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, operating a cash register, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Service: Greet customers, respond to their needs, and resolve any issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Cash Handling: Operate a cash register, handle cash, lottery tickets, and other transactions accurately and efficiently.
  • Store Maintenance: Clean and maintain the store, including windows, floors, bathrooms, and trash containers.
  • Inventory Management: Receive and stock merchandise, manage inventory levels, and conduct regular inventory counts.
  • Yard Maintenance: Maintain the store's exterior, including sweeping, shoveling, and painting.
  • Light Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance on store equipment, including pumps, lighting, and machinery.
  • Merchandising: Maintain attractive store displays and ensure that merchandise is properly stocked and faced.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with colleagues and management to ensure seamless store operations.

Requirements:

  • Availability: Availability to work weekend, evening shifts, and holidays.
  • Reliable Transportation: Must have reliable transportation to and from work.
  • Uniform and Appearance: Wear the required store uniform and maintain a neat and clean appearance.

Physical Requirements:

  • Frequent Bending and Reaching: Frequent bending, reaching, and lifting of 1 to 15 pounds.
  • Lifting Up to 50 Pounds: Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on occasion.
  • Access to All Areas: Ability to freely access all areas of the store.
