Job Summary

As a Customer Service Representative at Big Y, you will be responsible for providing World Class support to all locations, ensuring a pleasant and rewarding shopping experience for our customers. Your primary goal will be to build relationships with and educate our customers to create sales, while operating a cash register, scanner, and scale using the correct scan or ring method. You will also be responsible for accurately scanning/ringing all items, making change, cashing checks following company policy, and issuing receipts accurately. Additionally, you will bag groceries efficiently using proper technique.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must be able to represent A Culture of Caring and The Pursuit of ExcellenceTM through Big Y's Mission & Vision. You must project a clean and professional appearance, be a team player with a positive attitude and businesslike conduct, and be able to operate within Company policies, procedures, and standards. You will also need to be able to work a flexible schedule in accordance with the needs of the store, have attention to detail, accuracy, and follow-through, and be able to learn and utilize computer applications.
