POSITION OVERVIEW

We are seeking a warmly, friendly, and organized administrative assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be a personable professional with strong communication skills, able to work well in busy settings with an upbeat attitude. A mission-driven professional who loves young children and can multi-task in a dynamic environment would be a great fit. This is a full-time, 40 hours weekly/80 hours bi-weekly, on-site position.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Welcome and greet all families and guests warmly
  • Utilize strong communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Answer phones, transfer calls, and relay messages
  • Respond to emails in a timely manner
  • Log volunteers and check IDs at pick-up when necessary
  • Provide administrative and clerical support, particularly with regard to the Ellis meal program and attendance tracking
  • Maintain an organized reception space
  • Provide classroom coverage in infant, toddler, and preschool classrooms when needed

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:

This is a full-time, non-exempt position.
