The Operations Generalist RoleThe Operations Generalist is a key member of the Operations Team, responsible for providing administrative support, process improvement, data management, and coordination across departments. This role involves a combination of tasks, including operational support, process improvement, documentation, cross-department coordination, and project support.
Key Responsibilities- Operational Support: Assist with daily operational tasks, including managing schedules, coordinating logistics, and ensuring adherence to standard operating procedures.
- Process Improvement: Identify areas of improvement within operational workflows and recommend solutions to enhance efficiency and productivity.
- Documentation: Maintain and update operational documentation, such as standard operating procedures (SOPs), process manuals, and training guides.
- Cross-Department Coordination: Serve as a liaison between operations and other departments (e.g., finance, faculty, customer support) to ensure seamless communication and alignment.
- Project Support: Assist in planning and executing operational projects, including new system implementations, facility changes, and process upgrades.
- 5+ years of experience in an operations, administrative, or project management role.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Team player with the ability to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks effectively.
- Problem-solving mindset with a focus on process improvement.
- Ability to see larger vision while incorporating the details.
- Proficiency in Google Sheets.
- Proficiency in Asana and HubSpot are nice to have but not required.
