Job Overview

This pivotal position is essential for creating applications that utilize cutting-edge technologies to transform home valuation processes. As a Lead Product Manager, you will offer specialized guidance to the team in developing, enhancing, or designing features for products that improve the collateral evaluation experience. This role includes overseeing the continuous implementation, enhancement, or maintenance of existing products that innovate how home data is gathered and analyzed to support Fannie Mae's business objectives.


Your Contributions

In this role, you will have the autonomy to shape your daily responsibilities while collaborating with a team that values your input. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Partnering with fellow product owners, engineering leads, and analytics specialists to spearhead the creation of new tools, strategies, and applications, serving as the connector between business needs, technology, and user experience.
  • Quickly grasping Fannie Mae's architecture for Collateral Products and its interconnected software components to formulate a product vision and align stakeholders.
  • Independently overseeing product delivery by comprehending business goals and utilizing that insight to prioritize features and capabilities that drive desired outcomes.
  • Creating process flows with a focus on identifying areas for improvement and efficiency, understanding the customer journey to refine our tools, proactively addressing obstacles, and escalating issues as necessary. You will own the product roadmap and its execution.
  • Utilizing Agile software development expertise to guide the delivery efforts of multiple teams, leading initiatives from concept to product adoption while ensuring high-quality outcomes within efficient timelines.
  • Championing Fannie Mae's culture by fostering an inclusive environment where every team member feels valued and motivated to contribute to shared goals.

Qualifications

Minimum Required Experiences:

  • A minimum of 4 years in technical product management.
  • 3+ years of experience in agile product development and proficiency with Atlassian tools (JIRA, Confluence).
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work autonomously and inspire a team with minimal oversight.
  • Experience in translating business strategies and analyses into B2B or consumer-facing products.

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
