Job Overview

In the capacity of a Product Security Incident Response Specialist, you will be an integral part of the Product Security Incident Response Team (PSIRT). This position is focused on managing and addressing security incidents that pertain to our products and services. The primary objective of this role is to detect, evaluate, prioritize, and address vulnerabilities or threats that could compromise the security of the organization's offerings.

Key Responsibilities

Your role as a principal engineer within the Product Vulnerability Management Team will involve:

  • Serving as the technical lead for investigations related to vulnerabilities and incidents across various platforms including vehicles, applications, and backend systems.
  • Providing expert technical guidance and assisting in the formulation of investigation strategies.
  • Supporting the PSIRT Team in the investigation and monitoring of identified vulnerabilities using the VVM Jira tool to enhance our security posture.
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to identify and recommend suitable remediation and mitigation strategies to minimize security risks.
  • Monitoring the progress of remediation and mitigation efforts in coordination with Product Leads and Scrum Teams to ensure effective risk reduction.
  • Offering ad-hoc support as a technical authority on Product Cybersecurity Group services and programs as needed.
