Position Overview

The Lead Product Manager is instrumental in crafting applications that utilize cutting-edge technologies to transform home valuation processes. In this leadership role, you will offer specialized guidance to the team in developing, enhancing, or designing features for products that improve the collateral evaluation journey. This encompasses the continuous implementation, enhancement, and maintenance of existing solutions that redefine how home data is gathered and analyzed to support Fannie Mae's strategic objectives.


Your Contributions

As a pivotal member of our organization, you will have the autonomy to shape your daily activities while collaborating with dedicated colleagues to fulfill the following responsibilities:

  • Engage with fellow product owners, engineering leads, and analytics specialists to spearhead the creation of innovative tools, strategies, and applications, serving as the liaison between business, technology, and user experience.
  • Quickly grasp Fannie Mae's framework for Collateral Products and its interconnected software systems. Utilize this understanding to formulate a vision for products and align stakeholders accordingly.
  • Independently oversee product delivery by comprehending business goals. Leverage this insight to prioritize product features and functionalities in alignment with desired business outcomes.
  • Design process flows with a keen focus on areas for enhancement and efficiency. Understand the customer journey to tailor our tools. Proactively identify obstacles, resolve impediments, and escalate issues as necessary. Own the product roadmap and its execution.
  • Utilize Agile software development expertise to guide the delivery efforts of multiple teams. You will lead projects from inception to product adoption, ensuring all aspects of the platform are delivered with exceptional quality and within a streamlined timeline.
  • Champion Fannie Mae's organizational culture. Foster and contribute to an inclusive environment where every team member feels valued and motivated to achieve shared goals.

Qualifications

Minimum Required Experiences:

  • A minimum of 4 years in technical product management.
  • 3+ years of experience in agile product development and familiarity with Atlassian tools (JIRA, Confluence).
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work autonomously and inspire a team with minimal oversight.
  • Experience in translating business strategies and analyses into B2B or consumer-facing products.

Desired Experiences:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience (military or otherwise).
  • Proficiency in Agile Process Development.
  • Ability to communicate and influence complex ideas and visions.
