Job Overview

This pivotal role is essential for creating applications that utilize cutting-edge technologies to transform home valuation processes. As a Lead Product Manager, you will offer expert guidance to the team in the development, enhancement, and design of functionalities that improve the collateral evaluation experience. This encompasses the continuous implementation, refinement, and support of existing products that innovate how home data is gathered and analyzed in alignment with Fannie Mae's strategic objectives.


Your Contributions

In this role, you will have the autonomy to shape your daily activities while collaborating with dedicated colleagues to achieve the following:

  • Engage with other product leaders, engineering teams, and data analysts to spearhead the creation of new tools, methodologies, and applications, acting as a liaison between business needs, technology, and user experience.
  • Quickly grasp Fannie Mae's architecture for Collateral Products and its interconnected software components, using this knowledge to formulate a product vision and align stakeholders accordingly.
  • Independently oversee product delivery by comprehending business goals, prioritizing features and capabilities to meet desired outcomes.
  • Design process flows with a focus on identifying areas for improvement and efficiency, understanding the customer journey to adapt our tools, proactively addressing obstacles, and escalating issues as necessary. Own the product roadmap and its execution.
  • Utilize Agile software development expertise to guide the delivery efforts of multiple teams, leading initiatives from concept to product adoption while ensuring high-quality outcomes within efficient timelines.
  • Champion Fannie Mae's organizational culture by fostering an inclusive environment where every team member feels valued and motivated to contribute to shared results.

Qualifications

Minimum Required Experiences:

  • A minimum of 4 years in technical product management.
  • 3+ years of experience in agile product development and proficiency with Atlassian tools (JIRA, Confluence).
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work autonomously and inspire a team with minimal oversight.
  • Experience in translating business strategies and analyses into B2B or consumer-facing products.

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
