Job Overview

Harbor, Inc. is looking for a Support Services Specialist to deliver exceptional front desk assistance.

This is a full-time position.

Qualifications
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required, with a preference for candidates possessing two years of relevant office experience.
  • Prior experience in data entry is essential.
  • Demonstrated customer service excellence, adaptability, strong multitasking abilities, and outstanding organizational skills are mandatory.
  • Proficiency in computer applications, particularly Microsoft Word, is required.
  • Experience working with individuals affected by trauma is preferred.
Key Responsibilities
  • Respond to all incoming calls in a professional, friendly, and efficient manner, adhering to the organization's customer service standards. Properly transfer calls or take accurate messages for timely delivery.
  • Handle inquiries from clients regarding their appointments, including scheduling new and follow-up visits, cancellations, and rescheduling.
  • Ensure clients are appropriately introduced to the relevant staff members.
  • Coordinate ongoing appointments for various Harbor locations.
  • Process client payments as necessary, reconcile cash transactions, and manage deposits or cash drawer distributions as assigned.
  • Execute opening and closing procedures as required.
  • Provide support at other locations as needed.
