Assistant Electrical Manager

CloudHQ LLC is seeking a highly skilled Assistant Electrical Manager to join our team. As a key member of our electrical operations team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our data center facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement operating and maintenance strategies to ensure continuous availability of critical systems
  • Develop and update preventative and predictive maintenance programs for critical equipment
  • Develop procedures and maintenance checklists within our site's CMMS platform
  • Provide effective oversight of contract staff training content
  • Coordinate and inspect services performed by outsourced vendors
  • Manage costs and budgets associated with electrical infrastructure and operations
  • Maintain a culture of diligence and adherence to policies and processes
  • Ensure best practices and standards are adopted and enforced
  • Identify and pursue opportunities for innovation
  • Establish and cultivate relationships with key contacts internally and externally
  • Collaborate with design and development teams to ensure optimal electrical solutions
Requirements
  • Expertise in reading design and technical documentation, preferably Microsoft Office suite applications
  • Proven written communication skills and technical writing skills
  • Complex problem-solving using analysis, technical expertise, and organizational skills
  • Ability to identify industry trends and articulate implications for Data Center operations
  • Ability to identify opportunities to increase efficiency
  • Ability to work extended hours and respond to emails outside of regular working hours in emergency situations
Our Ideal Candidate
  • Three (3) years of professional experience in operations and maintenance in a high-reliability Data Center environment
  • Electrical Engineering Technology Degree or equivalent
