Position Overview:

We are seeking a Customer Sales Associate for our Residential Parts & Supply Store. In this role, you will serve as a reliable advisor to customers visiting our stores, addressing parts or equipment concerns, providing quality solutions, processing orders, and responding to inquiries.

This role is designated as On-Site.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Engage with customers both in-person and over the phone to accurately assess their needs, respond to questions, and deliver timely, effective solutions for their HVAC Parts & Supply requirements.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Trane products, services, and promotions to effectively partner with customers and enhance sales by identifying related products or additional needs; present these options to customers both in-store and via phone.
  • Execute quote and order management processes with precision to expedite fulfillment and ensure customer satisfaction, including entering quotes and invoices and following through on order completion.
  • Assist with inventory management tasks as necessary, including cycle counts, back orders, purchase order receipts, transfers, shipping & receiving, store stocking, and inventory control. Occasional operation of a forklift and lifting of items up to 50lbs may be required.
Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED is required.

Experience in a dynamic, customer-oriented environment with a focus on service excellence, continuous improvement, and safety is essential.

A minimum of 2 years of experience in inside sales, retail, or a related field is preferred; knowledge of HVAC systems and a mechanical aptitude are advantageous.

Demonstrated ability to build customer relationships and maintain a high level of professional service, even in challenging situations.

Compensation:

This position offers a competitive compensation package that includes a commission/incentive plan. Please note that the base pay range is based on national averages and may vary based on factors such as seniority, merit, and geographic location.
