Analytical Support Specialist for ATF Operations

Join a pivotal initiative aimed at dismantling criminal enterprises by removing their resources and disrupting their operations. FSA Federal (FSA) is dedicated to providing exceptional support services to law enforcement and homeland security. We are currently seeking a Data Insights Analyst to contribute to the mission of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF).

Key Responsibilities

  • Collect, analyze, and synthesize information from diverse sources.
  • Verify the completeness of data received and resolve any discrepancies.
  • Input necessary data into various databases, documents, or spreadsheets with precision.
  • Organize and maintain physical and digital files.
  • Monitor case file progress to ensure adherence to established timelines.
  • Facilitate requests for additional information as required.
  • Extract pertinent information from multiple sources to create reports, summaries, and responses to inquiries, ensuring accuracy and proper formatting.
  • Conduct word processing tasks related to case management.
  • Provide timely and accurate updates on case statuses.
  • Undertake additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED; undergraduate degree preferred.
  • Ability to comprehend the organizational structure and functions of the agency.
  • Exceptional data entry skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Capability to review, interpret, and assess complex legal and non-legal documents.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions meticulously.
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and other relevant software, with intermediate skills preferred.
  • Demonstrated commitment to providing excellent customer service with a positive and adaptable attitude.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment while maintaining professionalism.
