Key Responsibilities of the Cybersecurity Analytics Specialist:

· Design and implement innovative strategies to ensure the secure and reliable operation of enterprise computing systems.

· Deploy cyber defense mechanisms to thwart advanced cyber threats targeting enterprise networks.

· Configure and enhance Cribl and Splunk environments for superior monitoring, analysis, and incident response.

· Collaborate within a small integrated team or work independently, taking on leadership roles in various projects to ensure successful outcomes.

· Conduct advanced log analysis, network flow examination, and packet capture analysis to detect and mitigate potential threats.

· Employ security best practices and technologies, including IDS/IPS, web content filtering, DNS security, and firewalls, to uphold a robust security posture.

Qualifications for the Cybersecurity Analytics Specialist:

· Minimum of 3 years of experience in Cribl and Splunk systems administration, with practical experience in managing, configuring, and maintaining these platforms.

· Proficient in both Windows and Linux operating systems, including installation, configuration, and ongoing maintenance.

· Familiarity with STIGs, SCAP, and compliance with cybersecurity best practices.

· Demonstrated experience in executing or supporting cyber engineering initiatives, with a solid understanding of network and system security principles.

· Scripting proficiency in PowerShell, BASH, Python, or Perl for automating security configurations and remediation tasks.

· Strong analytical skills and excellent verbal and written communication abilities, particularly in articulating complex technical concepts to clients and internal teams.

Compensation for the Cybersecurity Analytics Specialist:
