Georgia Southern University is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Programming to join our Business Innovation Group. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing curriculum, training, and networking opportunities for new and existing small businesses in Bulloch, Chatham, and surrounding counties.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyze business plans, market feasibility, financial viability, operations management, and legal structures to provide expert advice to clients.
  • Develop and deliver business training programs that meet the needs of the business community served.
  • Perform administrative responsibilities, including documenting activities and assisting with office operations.
  • Serve as an advocate for business development, expansion, and retention in the area.
  • Engage in public relations activities, such as speeches and presentations, to promote the university's economic development initiatives.
  • Collaborate with private sector businesses and other economic development assistance units to further economic well-being in Georgia.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a business-related field.
  • Three or more years of related work experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in a business-related field.
Salary and Benefits:

The proposed salary for this position is $60,617 - $77,000, paid on a monthly basis. This is an exempt position.
