Executive Director Role

We are seeking an experienced RN Executive Director to join our team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of our hospice location, ensuring seamless patient care and coordination of services.

  • Oversee the coordination of patient admissions and ancillary services
  • Supervise and evaluate hospice personnel and volunteers
  • Coordinate services of all team members and maintain ongoing communication with leadership
  • Demonstrate a commitment to excellence through focusing on quality care and service
  • Incorporate continuous quality improvement principles in daily activities
Responsibilities

The Executive Director will be responsible for:

  • Managing teams to goals and standards for performance
  • Managing office operations effectively
  • Monitoring and supervising quality of patient care
  • Processing emergency calls and requests for assistance
  • Working with physicians, patients, families, staff, and others regarding problems, needs, and concerns
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of an Associate's Degree in Nursing
  • A Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited school of nursing preferred
  • A Master's degree in business, nursing, or a related field preferred
  • Two or more years of experience in hospice/home care required
  • Three years of experience in direct patient care in a clinical setting preferred
  • Three to five years of healthcare sales/management experience preferred
