This role involves engaging as an Instrument & Control Engineer focused on Oil & Gas Production Equipment. It requires a blend of technical acumen and practical application, leveraging experience and independent decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with sales and applications teams to establish instrumentation and control design specifications.
  • Engage closely with engineering and contract management teams.
  • Evaluate customer inquiries and control RFQs to ascertain proposal needs.
  • Communicate with both internal and external stakeholders to understand project conditions.
  • Generate technical descriptions, cost estimates, and project timelines for commercial proposals.
  • Define the scope of work for control system design related to equipment packages.
  • Select control system hardware in alignment with customer specifications and project demands.
  • Review customer specifications to ensure alignment with project requirements.
  • Finalize control system architecture and oversee deliverables.
  • Design electrical and control instrumentation layouts adhering to industry codes and standards.
  • Create controls schematics, wiring diagrams, and logic diagrams.
  • Develop PLC-based programs and electrical control systems.
  • Participate in project analysis activities as necessary.
  • Provide engineering support for the procurement of instrumentation and control systems.
