  As a Mental Health Care Coordinator at the Los Angeles LGBT Center, you will play a vital role in supporting the mental health and well-being of LGBTQ+ youth experiencing homelessness. This position involves coordinating services, developing treatment plans, and collaborating with colleagues to achieve optimal outcomes.   To succeed in this role, you will need a Ph.D. or master's degree in a behavioral science discipline, along with 2 years of paid post-graduate counseling experience. Bilingual skills (English/Spanish) are highly valued. Our competitive salary range starts at $27.70-$36.55 per hour, plus $1.75 per hour shift differential premium. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, long-term disability, employee assistance program, and a 403(b) retirement plan.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate mental health services for LGBTQ+ youth aged 18-25.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans, incorporating feedback from clients and interdisciplinary teams.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to address immediate needs, referring clients to relevant services when necessary.
  • Assist in quality improvement initiatives, adhering to best practices and regulatory standards.
