Mental Health Program Coordinator Role:

The Los Angeles County seeks a skilled Mental Health Program Coordinator to develop, implement, and evaluate health-focused programs. This role requires excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

About the Position:

  • Develop, implement, and evaluate mental health programs.
  • Assist with policy development, goal setting, and objective implementation.
  • Prepare grants, ensure compliance, and coordinate contract activities.
  • Represent clients' needs and rights at hearings and meetings.

Requirements:

Applicants must meet one of the following options:

Option I: A Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in Social Work, Counseling, Health Care Administration/Management, or related field, AND two years of experience as a Management Analyst in mental health or public health program analysis.

A Master's degree may be substituted for one year of required experience.

Option II: Four years of experience in mental health or public health program analysis, including two years at the Management Analyst level.

A valid California Class C Driver License or alternative transportation method is required.
