Overview

Nex-Tech is seeking a highly skilled Regional Business Development Manager to lead our Commercial Kitchen Equipment business growth. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for identifying, developing, and promoting new business opportunities to drive sustainable financial growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Build market position by locating, developing, and defining business relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Develop a growth strategy focused on both financial gain and customer satisfaction.
  • Identify trendsetter ideas by researching industry and related events, publications, and announcements.
  • Arrange business meetings with prospective customers to discuss potential opportunities.
  • Locate or propose potential business deals by contacting potential partners.
  • Discover and explore business opportunities to drive growth and revenue.
  • Screen potential business deals by analyzing market strategies, deal requirements, and financials.
  • Evaluate options and resolve internal priorities to ensure alignment with company goals.
  • Conduct research to identify new markets and customer needs, and recommend equity investments to drive growth.
  • Develop negotiating strategies and positions by studying integration of new ventures with company strategies and operations.
  • Examine risks and potentials for business opportunities to ensure informed decision-making.
  • Estimate partners' needs and goals to build strong relationships and drive growth.
  • Closing new business deals by coordinating requirements, developing and negotiating contracts, and integrating contract requirements with business operations.
  • Protect organization's value by keeping information confidential.
  • Enhance organization's reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests.
  • Provide trustworthy feedback and after-sales support to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Keep records of sales, revenue, invoices, etc. to track business performance.
  • Develop entry-level staff into valuable salespeople and track individual contributors and their accomplishments.
  • Explore opportunities to add value to job accomplishments and drive business growth.

Requirements:
  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software (e.g. Salesforce).
  • Market knowledge and understanding of the Commercial Kitchen Equipment industry.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills to build strong relationships with customers and partners.
  • Time management and planning skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Closing skills to negotiate and close business deals.
  • Prospecting skills to identify and pursue new business opportunities.
  • Presentation skills to effectively communicate with customers and partners.
  • Ability to build rapport and maintain motivation for sales.
  • Ability to sell to customer's needs and meet sales goals.
  • Ability to maintain and exhibit professionalism in all interactions.

Education and Experience:
  • Proven work experience as a business development manager, sales executive, or relevant role.
  • BS/BA in business administration, sales, or relevant field.
  • 3+ years of related experience required.
  • Previous sales planning experience and proven sales track record.
  • Previous territory management experience.
  • Previous experience in HVAC Industry or other service business preferred.
  • Previous experience in customer support is a plus.

Physical Requirements:
  • Continuously able to work in office environment.
  • Continuously able to operate a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a copy machine, telephone, and computer printer.
  • Continuously able to sit at a computer for up to 8 hours.
  • Able to alternate between sitting and standing, as needed throughout the day.
  • Occasionally able to lift up to 15 pounds.
  • Continuously requires vision, hearing, twisting, and talking.
  • Occasionally requires walking, lifting, carrying, reaching, kneeling, pushing/pulling, bending, and crouching.
  • Rarely requires climbing.
  • Up to 50% travel required.

Compensation:
  • Min Compensation: USD $65,000.00/Yr.
