Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Equipment Sales Specialist to join our team at Butler Machinery Company. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for promoting and selling our heavy machinery and equipment solutions to customers across the Midwest region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Acquisition: Identify and pursue new business opportunities to drive sales growth and expand our customer base.
  • Product Promotion: Effectively promote and demonstrate the features and benefits of our heavy machinery and equipment solutions to customers.
  • Relationship Building: Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure long-term satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Equipment Appraisal: Inspect and appraise potential equipment trade-ins to ensure accurate valuations.
  • Customer Service: Provide world-class customer service to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Training and Development: Participate in and contribute to training and development programs to enhance sales skills and product knowledge.
Requirements
  • Knowledge and Experience: Previous sales experience and knowledge of heavy equipment industry preferred.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively communicate with customers and colleagues.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills to manage multiple sales opportunities and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to learn and use our sales software.
  • Certifications: CDL preferred or willingness to obtain within 90 days.
