POSITION OVERVIEW

The Trailer Sales Representative is responsible for generating sales opportunities by engaging with assigned accounts and leveraging personal and telephonic outreach. This role requires maintaining relationships with both new and existing clients while traveling to various locations as necessary to fulfill customer requirements.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Education and Experience:
  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Possession of a CDL or the ability to obtain one within six months of hire.
Preferred Skills and Competencies:
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
  • Bachelor's degree is preferred.
  • Exceptional customer service abilities.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Proficient in computer usage, mathematics, and customer service.
  • Ability to perform well under pressure while assisting clients.
  • Capability to read and understand trailer specifications and technical documents.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • This position does not include supervisory duties.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Identify and pursue new customer prospects as directed by management.
  • Maintain accurate databases for clients and prospects.
  • Adhere to departmental protocols for completing trailer-related documentation using available systems.
  • Coordinate with the service department for necessary service work.
  • Direct potential customers to Wallwork Financial for financing and insurance solutions.
  • Continuously nurture relationships with existing clients by staying informed about Wallwork's services, pricing, and additional offerings.
  • Participate in scheduled lot days, meetings, and other designated times essential for the sales department's operations.
  • Achieve performance targets set by the sales manager.
  • Conduct product demonstrations and walk-arounds with customers to showcase suitable trailers.
  • Enhance professional knowledge by attending workshops, reviewing industry publications, and engaging with professional networks.
  • Occasional overnight travel may be necessary, with lodging, meals, and travel expenses reimbursed according to company policies.
  • Must be detail-oriented, organized, and results-focused.
  • Regularly exercise discretion and independent judgment to meet the needs of the company and its customers.
  • Maintain a consistent work schedule and regular attendance.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor.
  • Adhere to Wallwork Inc.'s ethical standards and demonstrate expected behaviors as outlined in company policies.
