Compensation:

  • Hourly wage for the Retail Sales Representative – Part-Time role is $18.00 per hour.

Key Responsibilities:

As a member of the Sales Team, the Retail Sales Representative is tasked with the merchandising of products along designated routes, ensuring exceptional customer service and robust customer relationships. This role involves maintaining product availability and effectively stocking and merchandising products at all assigned accounts, adhering to Coca-Cola Bottling Company High Country standards.

Essential Duties:

  • Safely transport products between storage and display areas.
  • Fill, merchandise, and rotate products on displays and shelves in accordance with company standards.
  • Arrive punctually at all customer locations to execute merchandising tasks.
  • Operate manual and powered handling equipment.
  • Maintain and organize stock as necessary.
  • Ensure a neat presentation of all company equipment and products at assigned accounts.
  • Keep back-room areas clean and manage any trade breakage.
  • Uphold quality assurance standards at every account.
  • Monitor competitor products and marketing strategies.
  • Transport and maintain Point of Sale advertising as needed.
  • Build strong relationships with account personnel and deliver outstanding customer service.
  • Conduct vehicle checks as per company standards.
  • Promote a safe working environment.
  • Foster professional relationships with colleagues and customers.
  • Adhere to all regulations, policies, and procedures.
  • Follow through on commitments made to customers and colleagues.
  • Accurately track and report mileage in compliance with company standards.
  • Communicate status and concerns regarding areas of responsibility to management.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • 1-3 years of general work experience preferred.
  • Prior experience in grocery or consumer products is advantageous.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Training Requirements:

  • New Hire Orientation
  • Safety Training as required
  • Annual Alcohol and Drug-Free Workplace Training

Physical Demands:

  • Ability to walk, talk, and hear, and use hands to handle or operate objects.
  • Vision abilities include close vision and focus when using a computer terminal.
  • Must be able to repetitively lift, pull, and push 50+ pounds, reach above head height, stand, walk, kneel, bend, and reach.

Work Environment:

  • The work environment may be moderately noisy due to equipment operation.
  • Willingness to travel to other company locations and attend training as required.
  • Availability to work some weekends and holidays.
